We thought it would be fun to dress up as identical twins and do a life drawing sketch, like they do at fancy art schools. When we were in art school, we were impressed by the confidence and freedom of the live models who posed nude. Their proud and bold attitude inspired us to express ourselves boldly. So today, we searched through our closets to find matching outfits and hair accessories to recreate the experience. In traditional fine arts, models often pose nude, but we chose to mimic each other by wearing the same clothes and posing with a branch from a lemon tree instead. One of us is drawing what we see in the mirror; she wants to see what she looks like holding a lemon tree branch.
It was sooo much fun! 💘oh and by the way we’re actually mirror image twins, we look alike on the opposites sides as well as being left handed (nene) and right handed (nique)
