We all wish we could go back in time we’re we could be a kid again and all the worries and burdens of the world falls away in the background. As he stands quietly in the middle of a mossy green like cage surrounded by his crumbling puzzles blowing away in the wind, Down below the broken puzzles are morphing into castles and majestic flowers. As confused and absentminded his face appears; He holds up a balloon that looks like a gumball machine a symbol of wanting to be free, generous, and a kid at heart… holding onto the past version of himself that is comfortable and familiar. while simultaneously breaking apart into something greater

Note from Artist: This painting of the puzzle piece man is about trying to pick myself back up after my old identity of what I knew was crumbing away, falling apart. In this midst of struggling to grasp my old self, how I used to cling to things so closely and take things personally to heart… I find that nothing ever works when something greater than yourself is forcing you to grow and ascend higher. The balloon symbolizes how I still want to have fun and be light hearted about things… it also shows how sensitive and delicate I am on the inside. The puzzle pieces on the ground represent my groundedness and my desire to stay connected to my true nature (the real me deep down) the castles is the new life I’m ready to embark on, the brilliant beauty of life and how magnificent and heavenly my life can be if I could just let my old self fall away and embrace my true authentic self.
