Storyline: This oceanic monster beauty is called Thalassia! She has a deep oceanic desire to feel everything all at once without any worries or fears. Prone to creating hurricanes and treacherous tsunamis if she’s in a bad mood or having a bad day. She sucks in sailors by maelstrom whirlpool vortexes in the middle of the night. People vanish out of nowhere. Erupting anger out of nowhere. She lives very far away in a place more ominous and eerie than the Bermuda Triangle. Yes, she’s terrifying, striking, frightening but enchanting to look at. She’s in charge of all aquatic, oceanic, underwater, marine, and sea life. Known to get them in check if they are not acting in harmony to the all one. Thalassia gives instant karma to anyone who doesn’t treat women and the feminine, female principle correctly. Violently wrecks havoc and chaos at anyone who hurts or ruins the oceans. In her core lies her justice-oriented, sovereign, dignified, and loving nature. Her roaring, powerful, siren-like voice, as well as her big, orange neon glowing downturned eyes and green eyelashes, bewitches all who see her, especially sailors set at sea…luring them in… she enjoys how they taste.
Description: So my painting is inspired by how the divine feminine awakening is rising up higher. How all the programming shame and misogyny that women experience from the beginning of time is starting to shake & crumble beneath her feet. For far too long, the world was filled with constant misogyny/misogynoir, subjugation, and degradation on Mother Earth. She’s enraged right now in the real world as a result. No longer afraid or ashamed of her feminine essence and power she holds within. She exalts herself upright to express it brightly without any worry, doubts or fears
